(New York, NY) June 13, 2012 – ita designers Bita and Rouzita Vahhabaghai win for Best Handbag in Overall Style & Design, announced at The Sixth Annual Independent Handbag Design Awards hosted by InStyle Magazine & Handbag Designer 101 at the Time & Life Building.
The Jewel Series really sparkled at the Henri Bendel display for the ita trunk show this past weekend. New colors were introduced for the Summer including the popular Farah in White, Soraya in Indigo as well as a new Shimmer clutch with Sapphire Blue Snakeskin. The new colors will be available in the online boutique soon.
For the first time in its history, the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards will be digitally broadcast on Tuesday, June 5th, only on Style.com. The CFDA Fashion Awards, generously underwritten by Swarovski, will take place at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on June 4th and will celebrate the best of American fashion. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the CFDA.

Tree of Life by Roshanak Varasteh
Commissioned for fashion designer Andrew Gn’s Paris Salon, Iranian artist Roshanak Varasteh painted a whimsical mural depicting a tree of life ripe with pomegranates, prancing gazelles and mythical birds.
Olympic Fever is in full effect as Vogue takes a look back in their archives to find some of the incredible athletes who strove to take home the gold for their Olympic Issue.
